Obviously, Blogger doesn’t have the ‘post something once every 30-days or you’re page is trashed’ rule. And that makes me very, very happy. Because while I have finally gotten into the occasional habit of remembering to backup the contents of my computer, I realized last week that I have not saved any of the material posted here.
Which would suck for me. What’s sucked for you, the one or two who read this site, is that there’s been nothing to read for two months but a hopelessly depressing poem. It’s annoying, I know.
However, I must say that it’s been just as annoying for me. Out here in my world, I’ve spent the majority of that time trying to shine and shimmy my way through the interview process for a supervisor position. A job doing what I’ve been doing (phenominally, I might add) for the past 2 years, except I’d have a team of like, two people. Mindboggling, wouldn’t you say? You have NO idea. Details to come.
When that little circus packed up and left town, I turned my full attention to finally finishing a long awaited project - sending people pictures from certain events this year. Digital pictures of events that took place between four and six months ago that I somehow couldn’t manage to send anyone’s way. I am the dork who had to design a super-cool CD to display the pictures - because pictures by themselves are just not fun enough.
And thus I spent several evenings and all of Thanksgiving vacation finishing those damn CDs, which are thankfully now on their way to most of you. They may be late, but they rule. So you better love them.
To everyone who’s bothered to come to my little corner of the beach lately, I’m sorry I’ve been away so long. But I’ve tossed the briefcase and I’m ready for some beach action, so here I come.
Thanks for staying with me and checking in every once in a while.
