Hey Jules...Here's your answer! Remember each fall in ABQ? Remember the wood pile that appeared at both your house and our house? Those were each a CORD of WOOD...

Now a bundle of wood, is the stuff you can purchase at the 7-11 for about $5! ...and you get four or five pieces of wood!

Now call and astonish her with your knowledge!

Update: My sister just called to ask if I knew the difference between a cord of wood, and a bundle of wood.

I think the answer to that is quite obvious, no?

Oh. My. God. Chandra, I am so paranoid now! WordPress stripped out all my links, but my favorite was this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Ranier#Geological_history) which pretty much clarifies that when Ranier blows, my neighborhood SPECIFICALLY is completely screwed.

Since you mention it, I've been across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. A couple of times. I quite liked it - until I wiki'd it just now and discovered once upon a time, IT COLLAPSED. gah.

Rose - anytime, girl! You would love it. And the beer sounds goooood. But we must have wine. Boxed or not, I'm not too concerned with the form - I'm concerned with the QUANTITY.

Happy Halloooooween to you all, too! (Man, it's boring here! Peeps are bringing their kids, but there's not a LICK of decoration anywhere!)

Hope it's OUTRAGEOUS!

Jules, I wanna go too.

Next time, take me. I'll bring some good beer (german), and well, if you really must have the boxed wine... Fine, you can get that.

Happy Halloween from the thing that goes "bump" in the night and her wolf.

Oh Jules, it looks like you have become sucked into the Washington attraction to and mortal fear of Mount Rainier. There's no logic to it. All that's left is for you to develop a phobia of crossing the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!
