Trick or…hello?

6:20pm: It’s been pitch dark here for an hour and a half already. I’ve had twelve pieces of candy and exactly FOUR trick or treaters.

I didn’t get a costume this year, but I think I’ll be going as the Sugar-High Psycho Cat Lady if somebody doesn’t get here soon.

While I wait, I’m staying busy posting photos. Here’s some from this weekend’s Pumpkin Carving Craziness.

You are the QUEEN of Halloween. I bow to thee, for I am not worthy. Halloween in a real-life castle with costumes, pumkins, fireworks and an equestrian flame show? AMAZING.

Thanks for posting your link – this looks like WAY too much fun for one holiday.

Also? Way to work the music. I would not have thought to use a Dean Martin song. (Probably ‘cuz I’ve never heard one till now.)

Nice! I’m replying with my Youtube upload of what I did for Halloween here in Germany. As you know, it’s my favorite holiday.

In Germany, Halloween isn’t generally celebrated like it is in the states. It’s not nearly so large, people don’t tend to dres up in costume, and there is no trick-or-treating. So, when I heard Schloss (Castle) Dracula was holding a halloween festival complete with pumpkin carving, costumes, flame wielding acrobats, an equine fire show, and a haunted labrynth – it was hard to scare me away. Happy Halloween from Germany – almost American Style.
