Testing the Boundaries
Standing at the oven browning taco meat the other night, I glanced over when Trav walked up and excitedly opened the fridge.
Travis: “Check this out. I’ve figured out my next experiment.”
*leans in and rummages as I turn to check on the taco mix*
Travis: “This is going to be awesome.”
Jules: “You do remember the last time you tried this. Didn’t turn out well at all.”
Travis: “Obviously, rum was not the 24th flavor. THIS, however, is going to RULE.”

*Five minutes later*
Jules: “So how’s that working out for ya?”
Travis, looking dejected: “The Cool Whip won’t melt.”

Real whipped cream — the kind that comes in a little carton and that you need to work into a foam with a whisk and a bowl — should blend nicely into the Dr. Pepper and give it a rich, well, creaminess.
