Al is 12 now and I woke him up with a snuggle at 3am the other night, due to a particularly vivid nightmare. While there are a few additional, fairly disgusting factors convincing me *something* is going on with him, I can only wait and hope to sort it out with the vet when she's in tomorrow. *shrug* In the meantime, it's a wierd wait. Most of us would be glad to lose 2 lbs - honestly. Maybe he just convinced himself he was too fat and decided to diet? :-P Otherwise, it's never easy to love a pet and then realize that our lifespan is so much longer than theirs. I was thinking yesterday, as I watched my now 9 year old dog sleep on the couch becide me, he's getting that "old dog" gray around his muzzle... And was sad, because I realized what a good dog he is and how much he means to me. Poor thing probabally thought I was crazy, waking him up with a hug and you are such a good boy! LOL Anyhow, try not to worry too much, give the kitty lots of loves, and realize that no matter what, our lives are richer because of them. Aww he’ll be fine.
