Dreary, Dreary Morning
From our bedroom window, this has been my first glance at the day ahead. For almost two weeks straight now. It grew so depressing, I came *this close* to going downstairs and shoving my head into a box of Christmas Truffles.

Normally, Mike, I would agree with you. I usually love it, for all the same reasons. Sometimes, it seems almost mystical.
But for some reason, it’s killing me this year. Like the week and a half when we were trapped by December’s snow, I think it’s the number of days that’s getting to me. This NM gal is just missing the sky.
Thank goodness, it’s sunny today!
I guess it’s just me, but I love the fog. It’s not like it happens year round, and everything’s so quiet and peaceful. It’s the best time to walk the trails around Coal Creek and Forest Drive (except where there be cougars, of course).
That is perhaps the grossest thing ever!!! You need some NM sun.
