This stand at Pike’s Place caught my eye as a kind of miniature veggie societal struggle: the asparagus all bound and neat, the mushrooms quiet and uniform, and then these tomatoes, screaming, ‘Squish you and your expectations of round, perfect bodies! We’re lumpy, we’re bi-colored and we’re PROUD!’
